The Turing Test

The Turing Test             <——

A piece that hasn’t been spoken about much in most circles on AI and its possible implications

Author: mmartel

"If he's honest, he'll steal; if he's human, he'll murder; if he's faithful, he'll deceive. Being at a loss to resolve these questions, I am resolved to leave them without any resolution." I have so much to say to you that I am afraid I shall tell you nothing."

  1. This reminds me on the movie “Dark Star” (the parody of Kubrick’s Odyssey 2001), the final scene, when the astronaut Doolittle during a philosophical discussion with the intelligent bomb is trying to convince it not to explode, but finally the bomb decides to explode, simply because of Doolittle’s phenomenological arguments that convinced it of it’s existence and its reason for its existence.

    1. HAHA, I saw that movie so long ago and I’ve seen a plethora since. I cannot recall the scene but hey… well put. Reasoning with a bomb, hah.
